After another torturous age of waiting, TWO in one week?! Ni ‘lassui!!!
As was mentioned in Seminar 27, the only monument remaining to the First Age, was the Stone of the Hapless. It would seem that this was not by the will of the Valar but by the will of Iluvator.
I found this comforting. If the children of Hurin is a story that encapsulates all of Arda’s misery and suffering, then the saving of the Stone of the Hapless tells me that Iluvator watches, He does not forget, and He will make right at the end of time.
When’s my next episode? Withdrawal already!
