Hi. Sorry for the dumb question, but were the blue wizards not part of the White Council? I thought, and I’m not scholar so could have gotten it wrong, that they didn’t go East for “help” until after these events.

I do not think the Blue Wizards were ever part of the White Council. The Wizards all arrived some time in the Second Age (1600-ish I think) and the White Council did not meet for the first time until some 800 years later in the Third Age. The Blue Wizards would have been long gone on their individual missions in the East by then
